G30 M550 with Remus Midpipe Installed!

Some of you have been following the DME Tuning thread we have where we promised to dyno before and after. Unfortunately could not get it to work on our dyno but we did manage to get some video clips of the Remus midpipe installed. This midpipe deletes all the resonators and produces a louder deep sound.

It sounds awesome. Does it give more pop? Also what spoiler do you have? It looks great.

I like the sound. It is loud but not irritating.

I'm thinking of just removing the resonators also. Does type of pipe matter? Do I need to go Remus or can I plug in 2 straight pipes for that sound?,
Saw some you tube bmw genius pay $160 to do his, hus sounded good too

I removed mine as well via weld job. Check out my post with videos.

This is a bit cleaner and if I had not done my weld job I would have opted with this probably but depends on price really.

Don't think in terms of performance or anything there would be any diff.

Thanks
I wanted to "try" to stay away from welding and make it as simple as possible for the shop I was going to go to. They are general shop that does exhaust, so am hesitant to have them drop system and reinstall. Was going to see if they could just cut the 4 foot portion holding the resonators and clamp in straight pipes

It is not a simple bolt-on.
It require some extra work to get it to work.
Remus mid-pipe diameter is bigger than stock.

Full exhaust system is the easiest solution.

It is easy for us in Los Angeles area, because we have a lot of skilled shops like us.

But, for you, in Toronto, most probably really hard to find a good shop.

Is it mounted on oem downpipes. If yes could you tell how the connection to that is made.

Is it done in the same Way as the connection towards the rear muffler?
