That makes a lot of sense, and is likely what is happening here (I hope). But I can' seem to help my mind from running wild while so excited and waiting for the new car.

Also, I'm assuming since I've not seen any, that the 2021 M550i in the US doesn't get the M strip seat belts they get in the UK right? A man can only dream...

Yeah ... I haven't seen the M seatbelts on anything but M cars here in the US. A man / woman can only dream, indeed ...

And, in fact, I've even seen some M cars (like a relative's X3M comp) that don't even have the M seatbelts.

Only thought I have, if mine is stuck in and yours isn't, is that it's my Tanzanite Blue paint adding some paint booth time. Otherwise, I'm just hoping it's a website delay and not an actual factory line / finish date delay.

Yea mine just jumped to being At the Port!

Just kidding. No I am in the same scenario -- has said in the Paint Booth since last week too with the same 11/11 finish date being stated. I last looked maybe 5-6 hours ago. I tried to check a few times just now but it seems the app is messed up. Nothing comes up once I login and try to look at My Garage. I hit My Garage, get sent over to the SSO login, and when it tries to send me back to My Garage it never comes up. Same issue on mobile as my computer at the moment. :-O

Alright - this morning I was ENTERING ASSEMBLY LINE and now it's updated to:

ASSEMBLY IN PROGRESS

Looks like this thing is cruising! Hopefully we don't find our cars crashed into each other. ;D

Nice - congrats! Post when yours is at the port. Looks like it takes 2-4 days on average after looking at a few other posts. Hopefully it moves quick.

Wow.. since I am an insomniac sometimes... I just logged in at 4am to check the update since Quality Check. I guess I blinked and... skipped right to Awaiting carrier assignment. Woo hoo!

I am very excited! My first BMW. I wanted something that flew under the radar but could still hand out some adrenaline. I was looking at the F90, but just couldn't do another aggressive bucket seat car. My lower back can't handle another "bath tub" seat.

It's showing as "At the Port" now, so it was around 2 days (which makes sense, Germany is not as big - source: I'm German

).

Thanks! I am pretty impressed to be honest! I wanted to do an individual color but since it's a lease, figured not worth it. The next round will be the real deal M car so I'll do something a bit crazier then!

Texox, I feel your pain. I was at the port for 14-18 days before I sailed. Talk about driving me nuts. My car finally arrived stateside on 11/10 - hoping I can be in it before Thanksgiving.
