Silicone in filling syringe

I am in the middle of filling my transmission fluid after draining and installing a new ZF pan. I pulled out my fresh syringes out of their boxes and noticed a lot of silicone at the ends. Is that safe? Or should I clean most of it out before using?

I just figured out how to take it apart and stuffed a microfiber to get a majority out. Tranny flush done now. Next up: diffs and xfer case.
