The BWM Canada Price Guide / Spec sheet lists two standard options related to the trunk:
316 Automatic Trunk
and
32X Deletion of Contactless Tailgate Operation

The ZTL is neither of these ?
And the dealership does not sound totally convincing that they know for sure.

It’s interesting that in the US the packaging for m550i is quite different and for example soft close doors are not available at all. As aren’t laser lights unfortunately.

@Waltan - I can't track it myself, and have to rely on what the dealer is telling me. I can only see from the cars VIN when it was produced.
I'm not sure how long deliveries BMW is expecting in Lithuania, but from what I understand, then the dealer can't track anything until the cars production have been confirmed by the factory, and the car have been assigned a VIN.

Thanks for sharing! Yes, same information here in Lithuania. Been told that wait period will be up to 7 months, so expecting to receive it until June. But until now - no news from a dealer. Looks like they don't have any build week also. Ordered in beginning of November.

Well I just had my 545e delivered and I was told by my dealer that the wireless charging, tailgate opening and digital key would all be missing.

They are all on my 545e no deletions at all. The car was built in Nov 21, so I presume BMW resolved all their semi-conductor issues. Just trying out the digital key. It's a pain in the arse....too cumbersome. Better off with key just in pocket to enter and start car.

@G30 545e - Congratulations on your new car. I was wondering if you have also had your car speced with the Harman Kardon sounds system? I'm being told that it's due to this sound system that my car is still stck in QC, and it was built on Nov 15th...

I personally think shortages are far from over ( not just semiconductors) more BMW are looking at the value of the vehicle and how long they can ask someone to wait.
I cannot see them selling as many highly specified 'big 5s' as they do 3 series, so they shepherd what they can for those cars.

Shortages are here for a good while yet, even if semiconductor manufacture is ramped up to the max.

That being said, my wait is still ongoing (July I am told if no further delays) but I would like everything I specified or will not be happy.

Hi, all, got the news from dealer today - factory is lacking 360 parking cameras. Have two options - delete this option and probably will get built on the march, or leave it and wait for the availability of 360 cameras. In this case wait time us unknown. Decided to drop this option. Ordered in early November, order in Europe, Lithuania.
