I drive a b46 bmw. 2018 530xi, dont have a charge pipe nor the downpipe. Replaced trans, dif fliuids at 60k miles. Replaced spark plugs (i got the oem plugs) at 60k. Stock intake stock everything.

My questions are:
-How can i find out if im running 2019 software and need dme unlock or thats only for b58 models?
-Can i run stock oem plugs with stage 1 map? I wont be using E. I just run pump 93 gas.
-Is replacing the charge pipe necessary?
-Is the free ots map that comes with bm3 safe?

If your DME is locked you should be able to use M-Link to unlock it.

You can, then again you might have misfires, if that does happen you will have to upgrade to 1 step colder.

Stage 1 BM3 with 93 tune, stock plugs no misfires. That is the reason I went with BM3 as changing plugs on my 2020 M550 is a real chore
