Its not listed as paintable, just Matt Black. Unlike the diffuser thats listed as paintable.

Unless they maybe did not have a production part ready and painted a regular M550i part ?

Thats the problem with the very early cars shown, they dont always have production parts

Just noticed that everywhere is references the carbon diffuser it states "in conjunction with bumper trim"

Bumper trim required for diffuser. 6 Cylinder optics (i.e.: M Sport 530i & 540i)


Seen this now on UK and USA information.

There has been no mention of this by the dealership so it's bound to turn up and they won't be able to fit it....

Yes, to fit the M Performance diffuser (Either no 9 or 10), you need the matt black M performance rear bumper trim ( No 8)
You also cannot fit part 8 without one of the diffusers (or you will have a hole)

Says so on parts system

Right ok, thanks. I'm presuming that is included in the price of the carbon diffuser as it hasn't been mentioned to me. I'll expect another cock up phone call asking me for more money.....

Just call up your dealer, part number is above and they are available for launch.

Have you got you car yet? I was told by my dealership that there is now a spoiler included in the M sport plus package if you have added that. It's not the same as the plastic m performance one though.

Hi, arrives Thursday. Yes I was aware it came with M Sport + package, but I didn't order that..

So it's £200 +/- delivered, not bad

It comes Matt Black; Will see how it looks in relation to side air wing features (should be gloss black)... so may get it sprayed same shadowline gloss black... or see if my paint shop had the code for Bluestone..

Thanks, that's US shipping only it seems... same spoiler is $213, which is about $25 cheaper than price I saw on EU site... shipping from US to UK is likely to be high, an we'd need to pay duty
