Installed a cts intake love the noise it makes, but my 60-130 times dropped consistent, Im guessing I have to get lower mounted intakes or go back to stock

Maybe heat soak. Try the front mounts.

I'm putting in a set of high flow BMC drop in filters versus changing the setup.
German engineers spent hundreds of hours directing airflow into the boxes.

That’s what I have. Wanted the front mounts though. Need to see a dyno first though.

I wonder if K&N did a dyno for M550's versus stock filter.
I'd bet the front mount would be very close to that. Maybe 3 hp more or something. Tearing off the whole bumper is just not worth that to me.

If you have a jb4 you can log the intake temps to be certain.

Yes I do, Terry is sending me a new canbus usb, the other cable went bad somehow and it’s brand new so I can’t log till I get the new cable

I went BMC.

Unlike the current Audi RS6 that gets a big improvement with aftermarket intake (60hp IIRC) our cars get less than 10hp... not worth the money.

Ordered a set off Amazon for $140 shipped. Best price I found. Will be here Wed.

If either of the intakes had significant gains, I'd go with it, but 5HP (or so) gains over a high flow drop in is not worth the money or effort.
