I personally know quite a few who have owned some that some still own Hennessey Corvettes, I’ve driven in them, driven two and raced against a few. I hear little complaints from these owners and others that like and trust the company. If you’re the type that believes everything you read on forums then you better sell your BMW really quick because they get trashed all the time. Lol that

I don’t think you know what he’s referring to.

Problem isn’t the actual ownership, but Hennessey’s business practices. Google THAT.

I know I’ve heard that, and the people I mentioned have no complaints with them. On Corvette forums there is some squawking but not much and I can’t discount what they say but also I don’t dismiss a brand because some claim to have had bad dealings with company’s. BMW owners are notorious for bad mouthing the company and many others do it with other brands, it’s par for the course. Much of it is the squeaky wheel thing. Can’t please everybody, every time. Again the guys I know from forums and personally have no complaints with their dealings with them.

A good write up for the C8 here and comparing it Lamborghini Huracan. Nobody cross shopping these two but a good read anyway. https://www.automobilemag.com/news/2...n-test-review/

No doubt it's a value as the last few generations of Corvettes. I like to wait a few years and see what the comparisons are like once the shine wears off a little.

This goes WAY beyond a few owners. Hennessy is basically running a massive pyramid scheme. Whatever money one sends the company for a build now is paying for parts from a build 12 months behind on payment. This stuff is well documented, and it’s only gotten worse in the last few years.

There were PLENTY of stories on how it’s basically a crapshoot whether or not you’ll actually get the car built, or if you have to sue the company to get your car back. Seriously, GOOGLE it up. It’s scary how people continue to fall prey to their practices.

When I used to work in the industry, it was basically implied that Hennessy models himself after Carrol Shelby, but not the “good” part of Shelby, but the shady as f**k business practices.

Bit disappointed in the white M3. First of all, let the faster car pass. Second of all, the Civic was all over him.

Also, Civic, let a brother pass man. Poor track etiquette. Both of them.

Both guys drive very well and I couldn’t believe when I saw the kids face running the Vette at the end, damn they get younger everyday. There was no other target for this Corvette on this day he was hunting GT3. Kudos
Barely a month on the streets and the new C8 made a great showing for itself in this vid and GM is going to have a serious track contender with this one no doubt.

Randy Pobst's video reviews/comparisons are much better.
Also check out GSpeed on YouTube, they have a C8 they will be testing and modifying at the track where their shop is located over the next few months. Will be a great one to follow.

You aren't going to get this level of performance and an interior that matches the Germans for the price point.

Mine is just fine. Also, here is a C7 interior. I think it stands up against any other modern high end sports car. The owner should get this fixed at no cost and GM should make sure it doesn't happen again.

Eh, I get more McLaren 650S vibes than Ferrari for the C8. It's clear given how similar the C8 and GT turned out.

Bloody Awesome. That’s the most positive review I’ve ever seen for a Corvette from across the pond. Would be great to see a bunch of those rowdy colonists cars tearing up the Empire.
