Issue when coding ECU auto start/stop

I had previously managed to program the auto start/stop to remember the last setting using an ODB and Bimmercode. However, I got my software updated by BMW recently which reset all my settings. I tried to program the ECU again but I've been getting a coding error message saying it couldn't code the ECU. Other features coded fine, just not the ECU. Has anyone had a similar issue?

Okay, after some googling, I found a thread on this forum with a similar issue.

Will try this tomorrow.

Problem solved. The engine had to be off to code the ECU.
