Unable to Access BDC

For whatever reason, I am unable to access the BDC using any scan tool (Autel/Solus) or BimmerCode.

The BimmerCode support guy said "the coding data identifier stored in the BDC is invalid for some reason. You would have to fix this using BMW software in order to access the BDC".

I don't need to get any coding done, but here is what I pulled up using the latest ESYS + Psdzdata, when accessing read code for BDC (I'm not well versed in ESYS since my F15 days). Any help is greatly appreciated.

In an attempt to fix this, on "Detect CAF for SWE", I see a list of CAFD files linked to I-Levels, and just picked the newest (bottom) one.

There are still two unknowns, and not sure how to fix this (apologies, not sure why my pictures are loading sideways).

You may want to give ProTool a try or ask the development team for advice. These guys are great. I use ProTool and on occasion, they have remoted into my car to resolve some issues.

I had the same issue with Bimmercode after I had Full Screen Carplay activated. I am able to get into the BDC with Protool, but not Bimmercode.

Had similar issue on my Brand new G05. Disconnect battery negative for 5 mins and plug back in. Worked for me

Thanks for the replies everyone. For whatever reason, the BDC was corrupted, and had to inject new CAFD files. All good now.

Great news, happened to me once. Luckily I had a backup of all my tweaks. As with most of us, the majority of our coding is in the BDC.

What software did you use to inject the CAFD file? Just curious.
