Garage upgrade for my 540
I just moved into a brand new home. Perfect opportunity to put down a Polyurea floor coating in the garage. I always tell my wife that the garage should be just as nice as any other room in the house.
Here are some pictures.

A friend of mine just did the same thing. Did it himself. It looks great.

I have one 2 car garage and another once car garage, which we use as a shed. This garage is for cars only. Nothing else will go in it.

For the other poster: one of the reasons to do this is to harden the floor to make it easier to protect it and keep it clean. |

It looks great!
It was also one of the things I wanted in our new house. Thankfully the builder added it before we moved in. Although I've seen some people do it themselves and it doesn't look too bad. Did you do it or have someone come in and do it? The only downside (if I had to name one) is when you drop anything tiny on the floor, it takes awhile to find it with all the small speckles of color in the floor. The worst are little screws/washers, etc. A magnet works well for that as well as putting down a solid color under where you're working to help find things.

OP, that looks fabulous! I like that they ran it up on the wall a bit.
We bought our home when it was about 17 years old and the garage floor looked horrible. We had the entire interior repainted, and I used the leftover paint to have the garage walls done as well. The wife said, "everything looks great except this lousy floor, should we do that too?" I love it when it's her idea. I decided to have it professionally done because a neighbor "hired" it done but with a DIY kit, and it lifted. My guys ground down the concrete for a good bite (most use acid) and then a primer, color coat and clear coat with the flecks and some sand-like stuff for traction. It's easy to clean, oil spills/leaks just wipe up with no staining, and I mop it about twice a year because I'm OCD, but it's much easier to do than with raw concrete. Apologies if the image is flipped. The house is actually not on a hill.
