Hi. I am picking up my 23’ 550i in about two weeks. I am working on a winter wheel set. Can you confirm the 786m rims will work? They have them at a decent price for the set but the configurator says they will not fit. It looks like your build may have come with them! Thank you!

Hi, I purchased the 786 rims and accompanying winter tires through the dealer. They confirmed that it will work.

Back in July a sweet older couple made the mistake cutting across a busy road, when their view was obstructed. And they slightly crumpled the frame(enough to be totaled) of my faithful 2012 G37x.
After a few months of living in a house of only SUVs. And an abnormally high payoff check from their insurance (thanks crazy car market trends!! ) I decided to shop for something a little more powerful, (at least 400hp) and tech'd out a bit. And I started high with Taycans, Telsas, Rivians, the usual cadre of sports cars, etc. But honestly I didn't ever wanna sweat a car payment.
So new is out. And used? Well.. that's the other side of the crazy car market coin. So I was a good doobie, and didn't let my eyes get bigger than my head. Shopping around, and whittling down the type, mileage, features, etc. and of course, cost. I figured out my budget so that I can make the car payment + insurance, as an easy to forget cost. (unless the wife plans more Disney Xmas vacations!). As some may know the car market is dramatically correcting itself, which has left a lotta dealers with cars they have way too much money in. SO when I started calling dealerships, I was getting the same old boring, old school slimy used car dealer responses, esp. the BMW dealerships.
Honestly, I like most loathe dealerships. I worked at 1 for 6 weeks, and it's as bad from the inside as you'd expect. Thieves, convicts, liars, and scumbags. BUT... some dealerships (in the US) have started to change their methods, be more transparent, and really take away a lot of the BS that makes one hate them. In my case, a dealership in Kansas, (mind you, I live in the suburbs of N. Atlanta) had this one. it turns out that, this car was a corp. lease for a Walmart executive, In Bentonville, Ark. which was about 30 miles from the dealership.
And apparently, Walmart executive's also get top notch service, as part of the perk. So the PPI came back clean, uhh.. kinda. 2 lil paint chips in the driver's side door. SONOFA...... that's it I'm outta.... wha? The price dropped down 1k? Not because we were on the edge of a deal falling through.. But due to the continued changes in the market. Dunno if that is suppose to make me feel better or worse. But again, they were upfront, showed me the data they used. And seriously who's not gonna be happier saving a Grand?
And the day after Thanksgiving, 2 burly Russian guys, picked up my M550i and drove it straight through to my cul de sac. one kinda knew english, the other knew none. He had a translation app on his phone. And, I think in an effort to tell me to drive careful as to not upset my wife. But it translated to some crazy comment, with her being called a witch!!! (Random part of the story, but odd in itself). And now I have this Alpine white beauty that's clean, very well maintained, and drives perfect.

Picked up a gently used 2022 with only 2,500 miles, CPO out to 2027. Traded my wife's 2018 m550i. We will see with they do with the G60 M560e which SOP is July 2024 and wanted to enjoy the v8 a little longer.

What wheels are those? They look similar to the M5 CS wheels, but they are too gold/yellow to be those. Car looks great! I'd recommend a better diffuser to show off those bad boy quads.
