Ditto, I think Concert is the best sounding overall. It makes a HUGE difference in the HK system.

I understand, with true B&W, Studio is the cleanest with no sound processing. In my query here on SiriusXM, I did change modes just to see if the rears kicked in, they didn't.

I had a panel rattle from getting my windows tinted and found that one of the clips broke. Know that some headaches may pop up from the type of panel clips that G30's come with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1. They're nice and seem really solid when they work right but terrible when they don't want to cooperate.

I ordered some of the older style like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and haven't had any problems since.

Wait a month or so after cancelling and they'll send you cheap offers. I got 2 years for $6.06 a month (tax & fees included). If Pandora were more reliable, I wouldn't have the satellite at all.

Today I checked my B&W front door midrange speakers carefully using the balance and fader controls. Sadly I am indeed affected. These speakers are dead on both sides.

I have a Platinum Extended Service Contract which covers "entertainment system" so I expect BMW to warranty this for me.

Is there not a TSB out on this issue? If not, there certainly should be. This is definitely a quality issue with significant scope.

Much appreciation and credit to hookson for the detailed posting and for development efforts on a repair kit that prevents this flaw.
