BDC panel for RHD

Hi all,

I have just purchased a 2019 M series (530d) in Australia, but neither of the key fobs seem to work.

I can still open and lock the car through the door handles, start and stop the car, and the central locking buttons work.

So, from what I have read in the many 'where is my fuse box' threads I need to check the fuses on the BDC panel. However, all the threads/manual/diagrams seem to suggest it is under the glove box on the right hand side, but this is for a LHD car...

I had a quick look under the steering wheel where I saw the other fuse box (not the BDC box), so can someone point me in the right direction for a RHD car, please..

TIA

Thanks tuzii, I just had a look and all I can see is the "FB front right" fuses.. (?)

Unless it is behind the trim panel, which I can't pull off due to the bonnet handle..

Any ideas..?

Just a followup to this:

I eventually figured out how to get the handle off. It has a clip inside the handle that simply pulls out with a flathead screw driver.

There is then a T20 torx screw that has to come out (underneath the handle).

Once the kick trim comes off (held by 2 clips), you can see the BDC. It is covered by another plastic piece which is also held in place by a T20 torx screw.

Pull the carpet away and you should have full access to the fuses.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), my fuses weren't blown after all that, so my search for a reason why my key fob doesn't work continues..

It could be the module that controls the keys because mine came with three keys and only to work properly while one only works intermittently even with a new battery. I haven't tried to re-code the key though
