Findway Floor Mats/Liner Review
For all that are interested, I decided to do a quick write up and review of these floor liners since basically no one else seemed to own a set of these.
Company Website: http://www.findway.ca/ Findway Part# 09010B I purchased mine off of ebay for just under $100 shipped. Let me preface what I write with this....I've only had these a few days at this point, so longevity and ruggedness is still up in the air. But the following are my first impressions..... These are VERY nice floor mats...seriously. So far, I'm glad I took the risk and bought them. On to the specifics.... For those wondering why I went with these, I specifically did not want the plastic/industrial look of WeatherTech floor liners. I have nothing against them, as I've owned them in the past on different vehicles and they are fantastic floor mats, but it just wasn't the look I was going for with my e91. The carpet itself isn't plush, but it isn't bristly/rough either. Honestly, it looks and feels like regular floor mat carpet to me. However, the material of the mat itself is obviously far more rugged than a standard oem mat. They are also relatively stiff, they are still pliable, but in general they are much more sturdy than the oem mats that I removed. So, I live in the Baltimore area and while we don't have harsh winters, we get just enough crappy weather that I wanted something that was water proof. We got some light precipitation today, and water beads on these mats perfectly. So, I have no doubt that they will do their job. The finish on them is great, they honestly look like a factory mat when installed, which is what I was going for. I didn't want anything standing out like a sore thumb, which I believe the WT's do just that. The drivers side has a rubber heel pad, so it even has the similar look to the oem mats. The driver's liner also uses the oem velcro pad location on the bottom to hold it in place. The fit - these are "floor liners" and not traditional mats, so they cover much more real estate on the floor. All of the mats have a lip around the edge, so they are definitely capable of holding a good bit of fluid and providing a ton more protection than the oem mats do. EDIT: The color - a buddy of mine wanted me to mention this....the color of these is pure black. The oem carpet on the e9x is more of a charcoal, so there is a difference, but its pretty slight IMO. Plus, the pictures (since I used the camera flash) make it look 10x worse than it is in person. So, rest assured, there is definitely not a huge color difference. If someone wants a better picture in sunlight only, just ask. Full disclosure, they do not fit as well as WeatherTech's...and you'll see a little bit of that in the photos. However, they are 99% of what WT's are for half the price, so I'm completely ok with that. Also, I think the fit is just ever so slightly off because they are brand new and they are also a completely different material than the WTs, so they need some "break in" time. With that said, they are so close that no one will ever notice except myself, which my brain tells me that I shouldn't even really be saying anything about it to you guys, but I'm writing this so everyone else knows what to expect. The one real "issue" that I have (since I don't really consider what I just wrote about an true "issue"), the piece that they give you for the rear transmission tunnel is a separate piece that uses velcro to connect to the other 2 rear floor liners. Technically, I think Findway wants you to have the 2 ends of this piece laying on top of their liners, however, I think that looked like shit. So, I decided to tuck the ends under the liners. While the velcro now does nothing (since it isn't grabbing anything), it looks waaaay better. It isn't going to move around the way I have it installed, so I don't really care, but to each their own. My personal opinion, the rear liners should be all 1 piece like what WT does with many of their models, not 3 separate pieces. They still do the job, but I'd prefer a more finished piece back there. So, to wrap up, they are great so far. I'll update the thread with my experiences as time goes on. I'm glad I made the purchase and I hope my little review helps anyone else in a similar situation as I was. Ok, onto a few pics.....the link to the small album is below these 3... https://www.dropbox.com/sh/etr3z5hvs...qT-V8tyqa?dl=0 If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your impressions.
I see you are like me, and prefer the feel of having a carpet rather than a piece of plastic beneath the feet lol. I am running WeatherTechs in front (never carry anyone in the back seat), but I am tired of them. I have them on 2 cars though. I have just bought the full set for my E90 for USD 75.50 all in (taxes+shipping). Hopefully I'll enjoy it as well. Will let you know how it does in rougher weather too, as you mentioned you get milder winters. Thanks again. Last edited by Douche; 01-29-2015 at 10:06 PM.. Reason: Typo |

OP, I have the exact same set and I picked mine up from their shop here in Toronto. The best part is the clean up in the spring -- just spray with a pressure washer and all the salt stain would come off just like the video on their website. BTW, I did the exact same thing as you for the back seat center piece.
One time I went to my indy BMW mechanic and he said to me after driving my car out to the parking lot, "hey nice floor mats". That coming from someone who's seen gazillion Bimmer's gotta mean something. |

Got mine on Thursday, installed them yesterday. Much better than the WeatherTech I had before.
Thank you very much for biting the bullet and testing them out. After I got them I ordered a set for the x3 as well. They fit perfectly and look/feel great, especially for the price. Recommend it |

I originally wanted Cocomats, but thought they are simply overkill for most cars. They also went way up on their price over the past few years. Anyway, I am glad to have found these instead. Wish they were a hair lighter in color, but they fit great in our E91 wagon.
I opted for a universal fit weathertech for the trunk / boot / wagon area. Couldn't beat $40 for a rubber/grippy material. May order more of these for the M Coupe. |

The best feature of these mats is how easy it is to clean them. If you live in a snowy climate where they use a lot of road salt, cleaning up these mats is as easy as spraying them with pressure washer. It works exactly like the YouTube video on their website!

I know you have a manual but are these safe if you have a manual? Like do they interfere with pedal operations?
Reason asking because their website says RWD automatics only.

Maybe they don't clip down? That would be somewhat a reasonable risk. If the mat slides up if can pin down the gas pedal.

Still holding up quite well. The only issue is that the area where my right heel usually sits has worn off, but it is just the top-most layer of the material and there is no perforation through the mat itself. The other 3 mats (passenger and rear ones) are in very good condition still. Can't complain after owning them for close to 6 years now.

Thank you for the review. Between these and Tuxmats, now I have some options.
I love the coverage and the quality of Tuxmats on the X1. However, 2 times the price of these!! Since Iive in Calgary, and the X1 is used for the family/kids, the Tuxmats do a great job. I might get these for my 3 series. |

Nice find and thanks for bumping this thread. I've always had weathertech mats, but my E90 is the first car I didn't get them for because I prefer the feel of carpet in this car. These findway look good, and they're about 15 minutes from me. Going to see if I can pick up a set this week!

Given the amount of time you had them I would say that's normal wear and tear. My oem bmw driver mat (second set) is showing wear on the gas pedal heel. I'm leaning towards Findway even more now. |
