Are the wheel bolt patterns still 5x120 or are they different for the 2017 models? By the way, looks nice especially with the wider tires.
G30 had 5x112.

My 245/35-20 and 275/30-20 on the Vorsteiner doesn't stretch like that.
The wheel was 20x9 and 20x10.
There is no one "correct" tire size given a particular wheel width...there are a range of sizes that will work, and this is a tire size that is compatible with that wheel. If you increase an inch in width of the wheel from where 245/35-20 and 275/30-20 was stock, it's not reasonable to say that's still the "correct" size; it's reasonable to say that it will still work, and is in this case at the low end of what will fit and create a reliable seal on that wheel.

BMW is using 275/35-20 and 295/35-20 on 20x9 and 20x10, respectively, on F90 M5 — which is probably safe to say is an "optimal" size for that wheel. Again, not saying OP is "wrong" or anything similar...but when you take a tire that is optimally sized for 20x8 and 20x9 (which is where these came from), it's no longer going to be optimal when you go to 20x9 and 20x10. Again I am not criticizing OP for using these tires on these wheels.
So I switched the tires today to the size you mentioned (275/35-20 and 295/35-20) and it looks much better! Thanks for the suggestion.
Wow, that's some big rear tires. How is the xDrive handling the different sizes. :

So I guess I couldn't use my barely 1 year old Vorsteiner wheels on the G30 huh? That sucks

It drives great, no issues at all.

No, which does suck. I had a F10 550i before this with custom wheels and had to sell them due to the bolt pattern change.

Nice wheels

Did you have the car lowered? if so, what did you use. Also, do you recommend someone to get the best price for the wheels? Lastly, dd they just fit with the correct offset or did they need special hardware?

Hi, no, it's not lowered, but I did have to change the tire size so it would sit correctly. With the stock tires, there was quite a bit of fender gap, which slowed a bit goofy… I just bought the wheels from a local wheel place here in Houston, tires as well, but by messing with the tire size and ordering wheels with the correct offset, I was able to get it looking how I liked it. The tires I have are the same size as the tires that come on the new 2018 M5. Hope that helps.

I don't think they come with it, I believe they sell them in the parts shop. I've done quite a lot of business with my local dealership so they threw in a few freebies, and I believe those were part of that. So, they were on there when I picked the car up, but I believe it's an option.

Tirewall issue

Hi Bro, I have the same car, just thinking about making the tire wider. I decided to go with the same size as yours, does your tire rub against the tire wall? Since that is my main concern. Also, what is the offset of those FR2s, I want to go with HRE FlowForm FF10, basically the same price range.

Will this wheels setup make the stock 20inch rims on the m550i look more aggressive? I want the setup to be flush no gap

Beautiful ride sir!! White is my favorite, very jealous

I Love Ferrada wheels, just bummed they can't be used with the performance big brake option... FR5's are my favorite and what I was going to go with until I found that bit of info out the hard way... I went with Rohanas, I'm happy..

CHicksM575, what wheels and tires are you running in that first picture? I'm having a hard time with changing out my wheels and tires. I tried the M5 wheels and the xdrive did not like that setup at all. I had 265/35/20 in the front and 295/30/20 rear. I had to put 12mm spacers up front to fit the wheels.

Curious about your M5 setup and xdrive issues. I have M5 706m wheels 20x9.5 up front and 20x 10.5 rears. I run a square setup 275/30/20 all around. Xdrive does not complain perhaps because they are all the same diameter.
