I'm really happy with the car, had the E90 LCI and E89 as predecessors what were really great cars in my opinion.

Installed the M Performance CF mirror caps & kidney grills and Eibach Prokit lowering springs. But don't want to change too much, because I like the OEM style

PS: Bought the M Performance CF front lip and side skirt extensions during the Black Friday week, think they will arrive next week and hopefully I'm able to install them at the end December. Pictures will follow when everything is installed.
Cool!

Hello mate, how you doing?
Yeah had one on the 35i & having done back to back drives with that & the stock one my butt dyno told me it felt a little more lively with the K&N.
Would have changed it a while ago if it wasn’t such a faff but as I’ll be doing a few service items shortly thought I may as well drop a K&N in it.

G31

Hey everyone. Bought this G31 530d a week ago, haven't got any good pics yet. Before had E46 330d coupe, really good car, but needed a upgrade and a second car. Super happy about the purchase. Some photos are with the old owners number plates.

Cheers everyone.

Another G31 here, enjoy your wagon and take good care of it
You seem to like black cars

PS: are you also registered in the German g30-forum?

Finally I got my Performance Parts installed I bought end of last year during Black Week.

Really like the result, it looks more sporty but it's not too aggressive for a wagon.

Looking very nice…good job

Am going to wait until the front splitter arrives & is fitted before I make a call on lowering my G31

Which springs did you choose? I installed the Eibach Prokit 1 year ago and am very satisfied with the comfort and the vehicle height – not too low, but noticeable lower than before.

Can also recommend the AC Schnitzer springs (some friends got them installed), but these are almost the same springs as from Eibach, since AC Schnitzer has Eibach producing them.

Yeah if I do end up lowering I’ll go with the AC Schnitzer kit

I can tell you that with the Eibach Prokit springs and Performance front spoiler I have a ground clearance of 15cm. There is still enough space to easily drive into parking garages

The problem here is speed humps that rise from 25 to 100mm, not really an issue with the G31 as is but I don’t wanna have to be creeping over them, I had enough of that in the e92 35i, which had a 40mm drop all round, handled very nicely but was a real pita when it came to speed humps

Can you tell me please are these 10 / 12mm spacers you have?

I spoke with AC SChnitzer and they were suggesting 10/15mm but yours looks spot on

Thanks

Alscoob: I've mounted 10/12 Eibach spacers, you are right. In Germany you are allowed to drive these spacers without any conditions. If you use 15mm spacers, you have to take care, because you need to install ugly plastic covers on the rear and have to go to the vehicle inspection center.

Excellent, thanks for the reply I'll look into getting some 10 / 12mm. I've got the ACS springs to fit so they should work well together.

My son lives in Bremen he also tells me that you can't do much to cars due to the TUV, anyway yours looks very smart .
