Angry Mode button on the steering wheel

Sat in the G30 today, and tried the Mode button on the steering wheel, but to my disbelief you couldn't switch from Radio to Music collection/USB with just one push.

I had to push several times to scroll through, in my case here in Europe, DAB, FM and AM to get to the Music collection/USB. And i couldn't push the Mode button fast either, had to wait a bit between each mode.

In my F10 it's one quick push on Mode to switch between Radio and Music.

How's other peoples experience with this??

Manual says thats how it works if you press the mode button repeatedly.
Also says you can Press teh Mode button then "Press the controller and turn to set and entertainment source"

I assume they are referring to the little controller wheel on the steering wheel ???

You can also use the Idrive controller.
Just press the media button on the Idrive controller and use the Idrive controller to select what source you want

Or you can use the mode button on the radio and again either press it repeatedly or "Press the controller and turn to set and entertainment source".

But it's so much easier on my f10. Just one push.

That's true, but you can store both DAB and FM station on the same list.

Thanks for the quick access button tip.

Okay, so I got an update on this issue.
In the menu you can select what functions will be shown in the list when you push the Mode button. This means you can select only the function you like use.

You can change the coding to remove delays, but otherwise you will have them with factory settings.
