Thanks! Just whether the rear spoiler is taped on like the F3* or stuck on with betalink.

Thats easy
Parts system says Betalink 1K adhesive for both matt black or carbon rear trunk spoilers

They also list a special cleaner to be used to clean the area beforehand

I wonder why the G30 requires betalink? The F3* is all taped on..

Think i'll fit it myself with tape then. I'm not having it bonded to the car. The only benefit is for the dealer because you cannot remove it when trading in if they use betalink...

The F30 3 Series M Performaance parts also call for betalink. 1K or 2K depending on the part.

If tape was used its not from what the instructions called for

I've used betalink to glue on my CF spoilers both on my e90 and my f10. Sure they won't come off, but that wasn't the plan either. The betalink does insure the best fitment with no gaps.
Looking forward to seeing more pics of the CF spoiler on the G30, but so far it looks too small for my taste, wish it was more like the one for the f10.

F32 uses tape for the carbon and beta link for the black plastic. This is from the BMW instructions

Interesting
The current parts system says you need 1K betalink for the carbon wing on the F32.
Wonder if they changed it.
Will look if they changed the instructions next time I have access to the system

No 2017/G30 items yet (drop down not populated yet )... good that they paint it for you

Hmm interesting. Did you find anymore info?

My problem with the betalink is that i'm paying extra on top of the car price for the m performance kit, so that kit is mine. It's not taken into account in the GFV of the car. So when the dealer take the car back they get free equipment back.

I fully intend to remove it all before it goes back for trade-in at some point.

I suspect the betalink is easier to fit as it gives you freedom to move and reposition when fitting. But also suspect there is a financial reason as well.
