haha I would agree, and I always parked in the same garage and it had always worked (other than when server is down), guess I can try again later today...

I am in Canada and can assure you that Canada allows the function (at least when it works) .
I am curious whether you or anyone else is still experiencing issues. I have been having a lot of problems with the "Last Ride" information in the App not updating. BMW has been unable to rectify the issue. Last Friday my car disappeared completely from the App and I was prompted to "Add Vehicle" again. After numerous emails to BMW and to the dealer, all to no avail, the app is still not working and I was told yesterday that "At this moment we are experiencing an issue with My BMW Remote App where users are not able to login or commands are being executed correctly. This situation is being looked into and we will let you know once the problem has been resolved." Is anyone else having issues? I assumed the problem would be widespread but haven't seen any mention of it on this forum. When I reinstalled the App for the third time (the suggestion from BMW before sending the message above) I noted that the App reviews are very poor and all of the recent ones talk of problems adding a vehicle and connecting. Thanks. |
