I like watching Schmee, but his ability to thoroughly review a car is not there. He's not one to remember the specific details and figures and makes a lot of mistakes.

"Key" fob (hard to really call it a key any more) will soon be as big as the vehicle.

I guess outside of some new tech (q lot of which is useless), it is very difficult to get excited for cars like these.

The tech is all gimmicks and so useless. All the tech thats useful can also be found in a honda civic.

Thats the problem with luxury cars as a whole... they are packed w tech that 2 years later is already outdated, most of which no one ever uses anyways... this is why the depreciation on these cars is horrid.

Like say compared to the E300?

Yes, a true ultimate driving machine.

95% of BMW buyers do not care "how it drives" nor do they know how many cylinders their car engine has.

The 5% who care about that are the people on this forum. Unfortunately catering to this 5% of customers isn't a viable business model.

They come with regular FOB's as standard.
The display key from the video is an expensive option

True, they should just go ahead and switch to FWD to be honest... and raise the price while they are at it.

Probably largely irrelevant. I'm sure he's a lovely fella, but I just find this geezer so irritating. Couldn't watch

Does g30 provides individual drive mode setting? Like non-RS audi, non-amg Mbenz, etc. U can individually adjust throttle response, suspension, steering , traction, etc? Like on the real M car. Regular non-M bmw (except M2) only gives u pre programmed comfort sport sport+ which u can't have light steering while in sport mode and with traction off.

Based on my 30min test, you can configure ECO PRO and SPORT modes but not the default COMFORT mode. At least you can configure SPORT to be like COMFORT mode with SPORT steering.
