Clicking under driver seat?
Some of you guys have to be experiencing this. It seems to be happening when I shift weight....like quick accelerations, etc. I’m 180 pounds so it’s not me.
It is a pop or clicking noise...something under the seat. Take it in to the dealer?

What was the solution here?
I think mine has the same issue, took it to dealer, they tightened a track bolt but it didn't solve it. Mine is also the multi contour seat. |

The seat back trim can make a creak or click sound - it sounds like its under the seat but in my case I was able to replicate it by pulling/twisting the seat back really hard from behind.
I pulled the trim off, greased the little connectors and re-attached it. Solved it for a year, now its back a little but I will do the same again. I have M sport seats by the way. |

Your seat frame broke. Happened to me, and has happened to a number of other people. See this thread: https://g30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1560595. What year is your car? Mine is a 2018. These seat frames must have been hit with some design or manufacturing defect. They ended up replacing the seat frame under my driver's seat. That was a while back and so far so good. But who knows. The problem appeared at about 5000 miles, and that was when it was fixed. The car only has about 7300 miles now, so we'll see if it stays fixed when I hit over 10000 miles. Also makes me wonder if the passenger seat will fail too, but I never sit in it. It is the only thing that has gone wrong with my car, but still a bit surprising.
