Apple CarPlay seems to be behaving lately

Dunno whether it was an idrive update or iOS or individual apps but for he last few weeks the CarPlay has behaved in both the x5 and the g30.

mine acted weird indeed 2 weeks ago, however, i restarted my phone, deleted my car from the list of bluetooth devices, connected again and since then - everything works really smooth...

Agree with OP. For the last few weeks I haven’t noticed any buggieness with CarPlay. Hopefully I’m not jinxing myself by posting this :-)

The iOS 12 Beta 2, seems to have fixed my major bug of the music stopping if you left the Apple Screen.

So, that's good.
