Does G30 have sun visors that extend?

I'm considering going from a 2016 X3 when my lease is up to a 2019 530i.

Does anyone know if the sun visors extend? My old e60 did not nor did previous 3 ers. My current X3 does have extending sun visors.

This is kind of a deal breaker for me in California, even if I got the windows tinted in the past it still bothers me.

They don't extend in the UK version.

No. At least mine built in November of 2017 does not.

While I would like it, I have been okay with it as is even in rather sunny Arizona. I do have my windows tinted.

Nope. Major disappointment vs the Merc E350, which not only extends, but has an auxillary visor which you can deploy after you divert the main one to the side window. Oh, well. Guess HP makes up for many things!

I agree that it's nice to have when you have it. However, when you consider all the pros (+) that you do get with the car, it doesn't bother me not having it.

If the car not having an extended sun visor is truly a deal breaker for you (and you love everything else about the car) then I'd suggest having a shop put one in for you (or buying one and fitting it to you car).

A relatively inexpensive add-on doesn't constitute abandoning the car that you want, IMO. Especially when it's a $60-70,000 car and it's a one time expense of < $500 (probably could have it done for under $250 or less even).

Sold BMWs for 7 years 2007-2014. Always baffled me why such a simple, useful and inexpensive device would not be offered. Love it when you need it. On other cars and my Z06.--Bob

Hmmmm--Anybody explore whether the X3 or X5 visors could be interchanged with G30 sun visors? Would be nice if there would fit the G30 --Bob
