JB4 gains 2018 M550i?

Assuming everything else is stock - just adding the JB4 to a 2018 M550i - what kind of power gains are normal??

If you removed it every time you went for service - and you ended up having motor issues - would they be able to find evidence of a piggyback tune ?

Has anyone heard of BMW actually voiding warranty engine work downtown tunes?

I'd like my car to be a bit faster but not necessarily if I'm playing with fire and could end up eating a $30,000+ motor replacement bill...

For those of you who've installed JB4 - is the change night and day or what ?

Depends on who you ask but i have not heard of any warranty voided after the customer removed their tune

I have not

it's very safe with hundreds of thousands of Jb4 users. If the Jb4 was not safe, BMS would be out of business. With that being said, tuning is not for everyone and you sound like you are not ready for it yet. Take your time and once you are ready, let me know and i can help with your purchase

Question for all, I have a 2018 M550i, and I am currently upgrading my TMAP sensors from 2.5 to 3.5 Bar. As the car has 4 sets of sensors for the TMAP, Which sensors are to be changed to increase boost, Pre-Throttle, or Post-Throttle?

Thanks in Advance

The thing with piggy controllers is you are only increasing boost. All of the ECU safety parameters are still intact.
