2023 BMW 540i in individual Malachite Green Metallic

After looking at this car for nearly two years, I finally placed my order back in September 7, 2022, and picked it up on February 9, 2023.

This is definitely the only 2023 540i, i.e. NON-M series, in individual Malachite green metallic! I waited for the allocation for the 5 series, and from my dealer I was the first one in line. Even they admitted they had never had this color ordered at their dealership.

Below is the breakdown of the dates:

Tentative order placed: July 6, 2022
Allocation received/order put in: September 7, 2022
Order received: September 8, 2022
Scheduled for production: November 3, 2022
Production begins: November 28, 2022
Exterior body assembly begins: December 9, 2022

Already had it ceramic coated and front PPF done. And also purchased the rubber floor mats with the embossed "5" and floating center caps.

Very nice, the greens look so good on this car. The chrome with green is so much better than black, looks so classy. Nice spec, I love the Mocha interior.

Great looking color. I had a '98 M3 sedan in Boston Green and loved it. Also, the most popular color on 1967 Corvettes was Goodwood Green, a similar color that I loved. Enjoy it! --Bob
