Optimal EQ settings for hip hop?

help please? i took some settings from a post but it sounds like complete shittt for hip hop.

help would be much appreciated, thanks!

set treble at about 2-3 notches from max
set bass about 3 notches from max

for the EQ, make it like a reverse cowbell. in otherwords, the farthest left column should be about max or just one notch beneath, same goes for the farthest right column. the middle column should be just above the midway mark. adjust the other columns as needed, just try to make it close to a reverse cowbell.

Do not set the EQ or any of the settings like this. Especially for hip-hop music. Distortion will be present with these settings even at medium volumes.

I created a very long and comprehensive thread for optimal EQ settings for each type of car. Search for it.

IMO, the best settings for this genre would be treble all the way down, bass all the way down, EQ settings all the way down, volume all the way down.

you kiddin me? all i play is hip hop and indie and i've read all those eq threads and this turned out to be the best for me.
