One Rear wheel sticks further out?
Rear wheel sticks further out on my 530e after I installed spacers. About 3-5 mm. Doesn't line up with the arch's like the opposite side.
It's noticeable and I have had alignment done. Aligns perfectly and drives perfectly but doesn't look right to me cosmetically. Has anyone else had this issue? Maybe a slightly bent arm from a pothole? Thinking of changing the front thrust arm from side to side see if it makes a difference as it's the only arm that's not handed. Also have a pair of rear arms brand new in my shed so can try them also but as it's camber related I'm guessing it's the top or bottom adjustable arms that are likely the problem. I know the subframe aligns with the body via stubs so can't be off unless it's actually bent. See picture. Car had bad pothole damage on one alloy when I purchased it on same side. Anyone know what arms are usually damaged by a bad pothole? |

Bumping this as I'm also experiencing slight shake in rear side to side motion seems to be from same wheel. This side had a bad alloy buckle when I bought the car.
Anyone have any idea which bushing or arm it could be with these two symptoms? Also when jacking the car the entire hub moves slightly forward to its zero load position which is very strange. Driving me crazy. |

For an E92 considering the age your rear subframe bushings could be gone on one side or perhaps a bent arm. Your best is to get an Indy mechanic to check everything.
