Disable stereo exhaust sound?

Tried searching here and other forums but haven't seen an answer. Can you code the exhaust note so that it doesn't play through the stereo system speakers?

Yes. Many references here on how it can be coded off. Will require iPhone software and hardware or having it done remotely by others.

any recommendations on terms to search for? Exhaust just brings up this post, pulling a fuse to keep tail pipes open and for some reason a ventilated seat post

BMW call it ASD (Active Sound Design) You can code ASD off through the BimmerCode app if you have it
