Apple CarPlay & Online Mail Problems
Hello,
Yesterday I picked up my brand new G31 with all the service packages. I only have two problems. 1. When I try to add my e-mail to the Online Mail inside the car and through the ConnectedDrive website it says 'wrong e-mail or password', and I know I've typed it in the right way. 2. The car wasn't delivered with Apple CarPlay, but yesterday I bought the service through the ConnectedDrive Store, but I can't enable it on my connected phone since the 'Apple CarPlay' icon won't show up in the car. Any help would be appreciated! Anton |

How are you trying to add the Apple CarPlay on your phone?
I've attached a screenshot from my phone. As for the mails, what accounts are you trying to add. Some providers need you to use an app specific password via the BMW website. |

Try logging out of Connected Drive in the car to see if that refreshes services. Also, there's an option to update services on Connected Drive. I think you access that by pressing the options button when you are on Connected Drive.

Not all mail services like Office 365 are supported. Mail seems to be limited to services that use POP3 and IMAP only. In other words, if you're trying to connect to a mailbox hosted on Microsoft Exchange, it's probably not going to work unless your server administrator have those protocols enabled.
