Best underseat subs
I have the 676 hifi system Am thinking of replacing the oem underseat subs. I don’t intend replacing the oem amp. What would be the best ones to go for? Options include Earthquake, Match, Audiotech Fisher, Vibe Optisound and Eton.

I highly recommend the Earthquakes because I was so satisfied with them in my E90, but I did drive them with an Alpine amp.. I have experimented with Eton lately and I am very happy with their quality! Buy from Amazon with free return if you want to try. Most of them need 12-20h playing to come alive. |

I honestly don't think you'll notice much difference if you don't power the subs with a separate amp.
+1 on the earthquakes! I had them on my e92 for years, but it requires a separate amp to come alive.

Will you let us know how the RetroSound subs end up working for you?? I will be upgrading my HK system and trying to decide on what subs to use.
