The new X1 XDrive 25i starts production in August 2015. Does anyone know if it would be possible to do a European Delivery of one in late September or early October? I'm really hoping so because my current lease expires late August, and I'm planning to travel to Germany for the Frankfurt auto show in late September anyway, so this would be ideal for me.

I think ED programs are announced later, but if you're worried about your lease running out, you can sometimes extend it to cover the gap of time in-between your prior and new lease.

What's more funny is the people who CAN'T wait 6 months for an improvement, no matter how minor it may be.

I understand if you already have your F80 and you're happy with it. That's great. New tail lights? big deal.

However, to the people who are considering purchasing, now, it would be foolish not to wait. My local dealer said they will start accepting 2016MY orders around April. So, in 3 months you can order an LCI F80. Who can't wait 3 months?

So should be able to order a G12 8/15 and get 10/15? but the dealer cars start 8/15 production? Will the G11 be far behind. I was not sure of production until this post and I was going to order a new 2015 24m lease and wait for the new car because he dealer said I would not be able to receive an ordered G11 until March 2016.

Jason does that seem correct?

I hope not. Just let the market choose. The 5 GT sells well in Europe and China. In the US marketplace 5 GT owners are quite happy with them. The 3GT is a great value. It is built on the same platform as the 5 and 7 Series and it has the cabin volume and leg room that is quite close to a 5 Series.

The fact that they've stretched the MY 2015 F10 production to 16 months, ending next November would seem to confirm that the G30 will go into production right about then. If true, it looks like it should see very early 2017 availability.

Similarly, the shortened Z4 model year would appear to suggest it's replacement is coming early next year. Edit: Apparently the Z4 may go on hiatus for a few years. http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1100742

Anyone know if there are any changes with the F80 LCI to other things like packages, standard features that were once optional, changes to the Nav system, etc.?

There will probably be other changes, yes, but info and details are not yet public. There is a thread on f80.bimmerpost.com with speculation about what else may change.

So the F33 is in production for only 8 months? Does that mean the LCI occurs in March? And the only change will be the engine, from what I've read online. Has anyone heard anything different?

For anyone who was confused like I was about the column heading, "New Body Style Non HEA SOP," I found that HEA is the German acronym for dealer launch cars, so that column is for customer-ordered cars. This column on the table for 2015 cars was titled "Start of Regular Production," which explains the note right above the 2016 table. So for the F48 X1, dealer cars start building in July and customer cars in August.

Is it true that AWD cars are produced one month and RWD the following month?

So if production of the new 340i begins in Munich on 7/15...when would pricing/ordering be available?

Does anybody know when they normally change out www.bmwusa.com with the next year's "build-your-own" model? I already bought a 2016 328i, but I want to build it online to see it better.

From my experience about the same time the new year models are being delivered to the USA.

Any ideas why the 435s whether coupe, conv or GC all have only 8 month cycles that end in February 2016?! My 435i lease ends in November 17' and I'm curious here. Any insight would be great. Thanks!
