Audio advice needed!

I have decided to go ahead and buy the Match up 7 bmw amp. What underseat subs should I go for to compliment it? I understand that the underseat woofers should be 2 ohms to match the amp? I have the 676 hifi system. I have already upgraded the front door speakers with Eton 100w components. All advice appreciated.

Maybe you should keep going with the Eton series? But they are in 4ohm, then they should be wired in parallel.

Earthquake has 2ohm SWS-8xi
Bavsound too I believe

I am replacing all the speakers with Etons and have bought MB Quart QM200WX subs

Here are their specs:
• 20 cm (8”) Bass-Speakers
• 180 Watt RMS / 300 Watt MAX.
• Impedance 2 Ohms
• Frequency Response 30 - 300 Hz
• SPL 88 dB @ 1W/1m
• 50 mm (2“) Voice Coil
• Glass Fiber Cone, Nomex Spider
• Mounting Depth: 31 mm
• Mounting Diameter: 192 mm

I have replaced all the other speakers as follows:

Front centre - Eton B100xcn
Front Doors - Eton B100w
Rear Parcel Shelf - Eton B1000xn

Would you have a sound profile that would suit the bill? Something that would get the best out of the subs with their frequency response of 30 - 300 Hz.
Also where should the gain adjustment be set on the amp itself? All the way down as suggested in the manual or all the way up as you see mentioned on many forums.
I would be very grateful for any expertise you can share with me.

What do you mean by 'then they should all be wired in parallel'? I'm simply replacing the OEM speakers with them. The impedance matches the amp - 4 Ohms for the speakers and 2 Ohms for the subs.

Interesting offer, but surely I'd need to put them back in when I change the car?

Unless you're purchasing the same exact vehicle and plan on reusing those speakers (assuming they'll still be the same size), why bother putting the OEM speakers back? It's not a ton of money.

Plus when I get a new car, I want new sh!t!
