Angry 2017 530e ambient lights not working

Hi Everyone,

Just got my 530e and realized ambient lights at 3 door not working. Only right passenger door working.

Scanned with OBD and got below error;

error
8044D7: Interior light layering LIN: Number of layering slaves incorrect.

Any one experienced same issue? Or do you have any idea where to look? I searched forum and check fuses but seems like fuses are ok.

Any help much much appreciated.

Garage List
I've got a 2018 and the strip under the dash, above the trim, started to fail on either end. Luckily, still under warranty. Taking it next week. But yours sounds like a different problem, so maybe a fuse will fix it.

Checked all fuses.

I read and saw many post for fuse 53, but in my car fuse diagram, fuse 53 belongs to seats. Checked and fuse working.

In BMW service at the moment. We will see what was the reason.

Thanks for replying guys.
