I think the black accents look a lot better on the lighter colored cars especially on white ones

On the dark cars like black or Mediterranean blue I think the stock Syrian accents actually look pretty good mine is blue and I have chosen to leave all of the trim stock black would look good but I think the cerium works just fine

Those black wheels just changed the whole look of the car. I love them.
Those other rims look a bit old style and dated in my opinion. I like black rims and the style of these make your car look a bit more modern I feel.

Installed it myself and did it on a lift at my friends house. Was prepared to do it with a hydraulic jack if needed.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I've just been looking through threads/pics of splitters and diffusers, to convince myself to get them. Which rear diffuser is this? I like how it looks aggressive enough on the stock M550 exhaust, without looking too extra.

You should be getting a commission from this seller. I think 80% of the people (if not more) that bought this diffuser (including me), bought it from the link you posted.

HA! Probably should huh? It's just a perfect balance of aggressive but not over the top that appeals to most of us. Price doesn't hurt either.

I was looking at more expensive diffusers and I remember you posted that why not spend a little less and change out/when they get scratched up. I drive a lot into NYC, so I know that will eventually happen. That rational made me get the one you suggested. And, even though very affordable, I think the diffuser looks great. Now if I can only find a good one piece, low-profile splitter for the front, and some decent side skirts. I'm a bit hesitant to drill/screw anything in, however.

Yep, that was my thought process, but going on three years, nothing wrong with is, no peeling etc. and I still haven't seen anything better regardless of price. Still one of only two or three that will fit the 4" tips.

I gave up on a front splitter. You're a brave man thinking about slapping one on in NYC. It will just get eaten up here in the Boston area, including the end of my driveway. I'd definitely take the same approach, cheap and disposable.

That's great news about the durability. Also great that it fits the not just the oem trapezoid tips but the 4" tips as well - now I don't have to worry if I want to upgrade the tips. And I agree- for the price, it's a no-brainer.

I feel ya when it comes to NYC roads and I can't even get out of my parent's driveway stock without lip without scraping. But, I really like the look of the front lip and sideskirts. You may be right right though- go cheap and disposable there as well. What to do, what to do.

If anyone is getting rid of the Cerium fender trim and grilles (pre-LCI), I'd happily take them off your hands.

I want to get rid of the all-chrome look but I want more contrast than gloss black since my car is almost black.

I saw this one below- it states in the item description "Direct Replacement to Original Diffuser on the Car. Direct Fit to M550i OEM Exhaust Tip Setup. Exhaust Opening are Made Specially For M550i OEM Exhaust Tip Size." which is close to what the others above use as wording. However, in the Compatibility Chart and item title, it does not list the M550i. Maybe send a message to the seller and confirm it fits M550i and/or has 10" openings?
