Hi all - we just leased a 2021 540i and I noticed an interesting issue with the 3D surround view that I never had with our 2021 M550i or our 2020 X5. For some reason, the left camera (under the driver's sideview mirror) distorts the angle of the image so that it appears my car is in one position when in reality it is in another position. So when I'm parking between two lines, for example, it makes it seem like I'm within the lines when I'm not - and vice versa. Today I thought I parked perfectly in the lines in my own parking garage (like I always do) based on the image displayed on iDrive. But when I got out of the car, I realized my car was entirely crooked and I was no where within the lines like what the image showed on the screen when I parked. And when I straightened out the car using just my own vision and no cameras, and the car was actually perfectly within the lines, the surround view made it look like the car was now crooked (when in fact it was straight). Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any recommendations? I would think the camera just needs to be oriented/calibrated, but not sure how to go about doing that. Thanks!

Take it to the dealer. When parked it is accurate. I find when moving the angles are not quite the angle I think it is, so I usually depend on the top view and mirrors.
