The question is is it just a button and if you put the old one back you could disable it or is it in the software in which case it's a coding job (if possible) to remove.

I just had a look on the U.K. configurator and it's difficult to tell. There is something below the button but can't make out if it's a button or a blanking part.

yea but those I6 are not comparable with B58 (not better or worse just lots of apple and orange). So your complain is actual lack of torque or just the throttle is not mapped to the way you like.

edit: I mean the pre turbo I6 vs. N55 vs. B58 are all lots of different comparison
