Can you still order 2022 5 series?
I keep reading different reports. Some saying that the 5 series should show up at dealers this month, and others saying the 5 series will premiere next year. I actually like the 2022 interior better than the new interiors and have been trying to order a 2022 530e before the new LCI. My dealer said not possible. Then I see multiple threads saying the 2023s will not come out until next year?
I might still go for a 2023 once I see it, and I know I might have to wait months for something to arrive, but when is BMW expected to show their new 5 series? If they are coming to dealers this month, wouldn't the youtube videos be coming out any day like they did for the 3 series? https://www.bmwblog.com/2022/07/04/2...o-nurburgring/ https://insideevs.com/news/584985/bm...onfirmed-2023/ |

I'm pretty sure MY2023 is still the G30 generation, or at least in US. G60 should go into production around this time next year? The reason your dealer says it is impossible to order a 2022 might be because all new orders have to be 2023 now, but it has the same interior.
Others correct me if I'm wrong |

That would be awesome for me. So you think I can order a 2023 G30 and keep the same interior? I have asked my dealer this a few times and cannot get a straight answer. What sucks, is getting a 530e 2023, before 2023, probably means I do not get the federal tax credit of $5700 because for the rest of this year it is only listing 2022 530e

The 2023 is still a G30 the 24 will be the changeover. As far as placing the order someone probably said it already but there's likely limited allocations left for the 22.

in the USA 2023 is still the current model. You might be reading articles for the 2024 "New" model, which in other countries might be considered the 2023 model. But regardless its going to debut in 2023, but its a whole model year away.
So you can order the current 2023 model, or find some 2022 at the dealerships already or on their way still. |

Thanks Guys - I was really worried about filing taxes next year (for 2022) and IRS only allowing references to the 2022 IRC 30D which only shows the 2022 530e, but LogicalApex response gives me enough hope that they will have it updated by then, which makes sense
I am concerned about order time as the reason I am getting this is because I have had a Bronco on order for a year, and that will probably take another year. Does anyone have a ballpark on how long custom orders take right now? 3 months, 6 months, 1 year? etc? |
