540 CPO deal

Trying to negotiate a deal on a CPO 2017 540. I would have thought dealers had more room, but am only being offered $300-500 before incentives.

Looking at two options, both $41k
1. 33k miles, MSport, Premium, all Driver Assistance options, HK sound, dealer confirmed new tires
2. 22k miles, MSport, Premium, just regular Driver Assistance

Both seem fairly priced based on Edmunds, KBB, but welcome thoughts?

Different markets, but I picked up my 2017 CPO for $36,800

26k Miles, M Sport, Premium, BW Sound, Dynamic handling, driving assistance, and a few others

In this thread a little below https://g30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1713591

I see you're in NYC area. I'm close and that's been pretty much on par for our area for those specs, on the more loaded option. Don't listen to Eric below I'm fairly certain murder or blackmail took place in order him to get that deal

On the very low end you're looking at high 39s given what dealer is offering doesn't seem to be to far off the bat.

Good luck!

Thanks, that looked like an awesome deal! Definitely have not seen anything approaching that on the East Coast with MSport.

Thanks, Archie! Glad to know I'm in the right ballpark.

Very friendly suggestion, see if you can find a 2016 CPO. You'll save a ton of money.

2016 is F10 not G30

A couple suggestions

Get an extended warranty as these cars are absurdly expensive to keep running post warranty. FYI, a bad transmission will cost you $8K. Good news is the G30 is a pretty darn solid car. The B58 is a great engine. But things happen!

Since you're in NY, definitely check wheels and suspension for damage. Pot holes are a killer in that market. Bent rims are all too common.

I recognize that, of course. My point about saving money if OP gets a 2016 instead of a 2017 is still valid, however.

True. But many car experts suggest not purchasing a car in the first year of a model's production. So the F10 should be very reliable but older tech and the G30's reliability will be more questionable but its tech should be more up to date. But getting an extended warranty might mitigate that concern.

For whatever it is worth, my G30 (2018 530e) has been rock solid in the 39 months I have owned it (but I did buy a second year production vehicle).
