Ordered the car and just ordered the tune too LOL

Hey all. Well i was shopping for a used 440 than found a x4 m40i which i wanted than i drove a 540i xdrive and fell in love. So tomorrow im picking up my jet black/cognac 540i and its not new but has 8000 miles on it.
And i couldnt wait and just ordered the boot mod 3 tune and ordered the cable and the obd plug for bimmercode...
Now im just patiently waiting for monday to come...

Anyone else go straight from new car to tune?
Also anything i should watch out for when i flash the car tommorow?

Cant wait...

Just got the car now and i def want the flash asap..I cant hear my exhaust good as the 440's or the x4 m40is lol I think its gonna need a little loud gargle..Gonna flash my moms x7 too without her knowing for my pops lol now just need to find another used one for sale

Lol, i had my 18 M550 for Less than a month before i went stage 2 with catless downpipes and full exhaust.

Didn't mess with the cats but I had my exhaust before receiving my car. Would like to do downpipes but haven't found any just yet and am afraid of messing with anything touching the turbos affecting the warranty.

Warranties are affected if the modification causes any damages or additional stress on a stock component.

In the downpipe case, its the opposite since high flow pipes reduce backpressure on turbos and allow them to reach target boost easier
