well some of those may simply be down to local regulations. No navigation though, so there is no map data for your country?
Wireless charging, did you order enhance Bluetooth as wireless charging comes with that. The active lane changing I suspect may be down to local regs not being approved. Believe it only got approved for July builds onwards here in the UK. Can you export your driver profile to a usb key and then open up the file that it creates, in there will be the ISTEP number which is the cars software level (its not a definitive source but assuming there have not been any updates to the car , pretty sure it will be accurate for these purposes) What does it state? Mine a UK version states S15A-17-07-502 (Believe there is also -503 out as well now) Might be worth asking a BMW genius online if they can confirm if SLI is configured to work there. |

well it seems it is 30 seconds under certian circumstances.
whilst on the M40 today (coming back from the bmw club meet at the Brtisih motor museum) I had ACC and lane assist on and when the traffic stopped the car would start after quite a while. less than 30 but more than 3. I also noticed that the prompt to put your hands on the wheel came quite a while later as opposed to just a few seconds when travelling at speed. presume this is traffic jam assist. So in this circumstance you really can just sit back and the the car drive for you with touchjg the steering wheel. |

Did a sw update in Sweden from S15A-17-03-509 to S15A-17-07-504.
According to dealership no automatic lane change assist allowed in this region ?? Same with remote 3D. Anyone from Nordics built in July with automatic lane change assist or remote 3D? |

No difference that I noticed so far. Can tell once I drive a bit more. Only difference was the incorrect G12 pic in the surround view which I wrote in another's post.

So apparently not allowed in Sweden yet - very surprised as Mercedes is working fine in Sweden.
About the drunk aspect... well I can't tell a huge difference I must admit. Not flawless but then again Mercedes, Volvo etc. certainly not also. Drunk behavior BUT then again not worse than other drivers on the road? (I believe an improvement for the majority of drivers...). I would actually after 4000 km in Europe this summer say that it makes for a relaxing drive. Just a hand or a finger on the wheel and the car does a pretty good job. Even high speeds on autobahn (even high speed corners). Yes I consider myself better but ... we should expect relief from these system, not perfection (comes maybe in 5-10 years time). I am certainly not ready to put my life completely in the hand of a PC just yet. For that reason I like BMWs idea of a hand on the wheel. |

yes from I have used it for keeping your hands on feels natural and I think you subconsciously correct it if you feel it is not quite right.
it is after all called lane ASSIST. I think the traffic jam assist is more impressive because although it is at lower speeds and also stationary you feel like it really is taking the effort away from you. of course an option if you are not interested in, you dont have to specify. |

Mine does not allow for much relaxation since it must be constantly watched.
Even on straight dual lane highways, it wanders from side to side and especially right turns seem hard for it. A turn often results in the lane departure warning going off woth steering wheel vibration so the two systems doesn't even seem to be in sync. I've not driven Mercedes' or Volvo's systems but I have deiven Teslas for about 1000 km. It has its flaws but it does stay stable in the lane. Stable lane keeping in my bmw and it would provide the assisting its supposed to. Right now, it's not... |

AP, a quick question about the lane change feature. If you tell it to change lanes, does the steering wheel symbol stay green while changing?
Any other indication presented during the lane change? |

Yes the lane marking on the instrument display / HUD flashes in time with the indicators. It will of course check that the lane is free to move into , if not, it won't move.
I've used it quite a bit now, more as a means of entertainment than any need. I've used the lane assist a lot now, the other week I wasn't in a rush and drove down from the British Motor museum on the M40 in Warwickshire down to the M25 completely with the ACC/Lane assist on the whole way. it did need some corrections at turns off as it detected the lane moving off the to the left and wanted to follow that. You only need a subtle correction of the wheel and it will then track the inside lane again as normal. there are also the odd occasions when the lanes are not detected in which case the lane marking on the instrument display and HUD change from green to grey. All I had to do was periodically touch the steering wheel. I used it again this morning all on the M25 from the A3 round to the M40 in reasonably heavy traffic. Other than a couple of instances I had to intervene the ACC due to cars cutting me up, it worked fine. it's certainly not a true hands off system, you do have to monitor it which is after all what it's supposed to be. very impressive. Not perfect, but good. As mentioned before I really thinks it excels when in traffic assist mode when the time it allows to drive before prompting you to put your hands on the wheel again. With lane assist on it will follow the car ahead even if the lane markings are displayed as grey ie it can't detect any lane markings. |

Hmm... One more thing.
I know this might be asking a little bit too much. But would it be possible for you to do a short video clip with the indivators showing? I think I will have to prove my service center being wrong before they will look deeper into this. |

Is this approved for Sweden yet, MatbI ? If so we should be able to get it activated. I have a new sw on my car but that didn't activate it so has to be locked similar to Remote 3D etc.

I can try and see if I can do that whilst stationary , won't attempt it whilst moving as I have nowhere to mount my phone or dale for that matter. Won't be until weekend at earliest though.
Any news from bmw in Sweden about activating? |

A video (I've searched the net without finding one) of how the indicators are meant to indicate the lane change would help since I don't think they will get the car to show them... I don't think it will do lane change indication while being stationary right? So nevermind in that case. Thanks for volunteering. |

Should be easy to test
Just make sure lane assist is on and that you have green lane markings and then simply indicate. Car will move across iF the lane is clear That is all there is to it. Do you exactly what bmw have done by any chance? |

I've tried a lot. Not working. Next step is to make them show it to me. That's why it is important to know what the indications look like.
