2018 M550i Front bra

Hey all, just sold my 2005 645 and acquired a low mileage 2018 M550i xDrive. I'm looking for a front end mask. I've shopped most standard locations and came up empty. Any suggestions? (Other than leave it in the garage? Way too much fun for that....) Thanks....

You searched for detailers/wrap services in your area to inquire about front end PPF packages and you came up empty? Not entirely sure what suggestions you're looking for, types of PPF perhaps?

How does the hood and nose look now? Many chips and pits? What color is your car? I ask because applying PPF over rock chips (especially on a dark car) will make them stand out more. It's similar to an air pocket under the film.

Assuming it's in good shape. A word of advice - do the WHOLE front end. Nose, complete food, fenders and mirrors. Do not stop a third of the way up the hood. The line looks like shit and rocks and stones can hit anywhere on the hood, including up high. It's not cheap, but worth every penny.

Joe-BMW33: Thanks for the advice. Color is dark graphite. Front is very good, <10 very small nicks. I've been getting quotes and talked with several shops that apply PPF. All say wrap the whole hood, nose and mirrors, just like you suggest, so I guess it's not just a "sales pitch." You suggest fenders , too....?

Made the appointment for this week, so thanks ...

Happy to help. I do suggest the fenders and mirrors. Although the angles of the G30 minimize full front on exposure, rocks and stones can come at you from different angles, it's pretty much 100% risk free if you do the fenders. I also have the rear tray of the bumper filmed to prevent scratches from putting parcels in and out of the trunk.

Not sure how much just for the nose, but what I recommended will run about $3,500. The nose is the most difficult. I'm guessing $2,000 just for that.

Location will play a part, here in the tri state area, looking around $1,800 - $2,000 or so.
