Hi all , a while ago I had a notice in BMW app notifying me about the m550i recall addressing acceleration. Now when I go to BMW recall website and search my vin it shows 0 active recalls. Can someone else who didn't have this update done check ? Maybe this is not a recall anymore but just and update ?

The attached photo is what I had done (B120421) which updated the DME and software updated to July 2021 version. This affected only 2021 m550i's

Doesn't Sport+ hold lower gears longer? I can see why that might make it feel less sporty...

I apparently missed this, can you direct me to a thread or something where this is discussed. I have had no problem with acceleration in my M550.

There was a huge thread about 0-60 performance being 4.1 secs vs 3.6 on 2021 LCI models, then car and driver retested and confirmed. After that BMW sent recall letters, but eventually was a service action:

I have access to DCS. You can PM me with the last 7 of your VIN and I can search internally to see. My car had a recall and TSB that didn't show on BMW website but the service advisors could see it

Got my car back with the update. Car feels more responsive , less lag from standstill.
