From what I read removing one resonator doesn’t do much. For that reason I removed both of mine and am glad I did. It’s not super loud (and with valves closed sounds stock).

Do you run a stock muffler or aftermarket?

Stock muffler, just did a double resonator delete and replaced it with custom X pipe.

I know she was over the top impressed haha. I have four children. That one (she's 12) and the 7 year old boy think having a V8 is the coolest thing ever. They absolutely love loud cars (and this isn't really a loud car).

I found a local custom exhaust shop. They quoted me $250 to remove both resonators and do just straight pipe and $360 to remove both resonators and add custom X-pipe. I had a custom shop around here not willing to do it (they were weird though). If you call around asking about it make sure to explain there are two resonators. To find the shop I just put in google maps "exhaust" and then tried "muffler" and found shops that specialized in exhaust systems. I emailed back and forth with a few to get an idea of my options and their knowledge of what I was asking for.

Also the video makes it hard to tell difference in sound levels, but removing both resonators, from outside the car in sports plus mode is maybe 20-25% louder than full stock setup.

Bang for your buck resonator removal it’s a great mod option. Full exhaust systems are quite a bit more money. I’m sure they are great (I haven’t heard one in person yet) but based on videos I’m not sure they would be make that much more of a difference to me. But until I hear one in person I’ll reserve judgement.

But yeah this is low hanging fruit IMO

Captured from door bell so it’s not the best audio but it’s got some boom to it with both resonators removed.

Do you have any pictures of the xpipe and where they put it? I just used the magnaflow x pipe and swear yours is louder and has more pops!

Sounds how it is supposed to sound! Didn't do an X pipe. Went with a straight stainless steel pipe. The exhaust shop talked me out of it
