705m F90 wheels on G30

Have any one tried 705M f90 wheels with wider tires on G30?

I only see this thread that has the OEM width on it without any issues.

I'm looking at buying a set of 705Ms and fit wider 255/265 front and 285/295 rear and want to make sure they fit as the offset is quite different than the OEM.

Photos would be great too.
Thanks

I have them. The offsets are aggressive for a G30. You will have slight poke. I went with 275/30 on all 4 corners even though the rears are wider. I also added wheel arch extensions for the rear so the poke is not as noticeable

Some pics.

That's it. Thanks. That's what I wanted to know.
Seems like 295s are not gonna work. I was gonna also increase the side wall by %5 all around for a more comfortable ride. For sure 295s are gonna rub.

You can find these on ebay as well. Not oem but can't tell the difference besides the width. Ended up going with it on my car and it is a perfect fitment.

20x8.5" front with 245/35 Michelins
20x9.5" rear with 275/30 Michelins

They're mostly all alloy wheels, OEM vs reps. No wheel is an exception to potholes etc, even forged wheels. Basically any wheel at any point can crack or bend with impact

Fair enough. With these tiny side walls on RFTs there is no chance.

Are you lowered at all? I have the same wheels (in storage) and about to start prepping to install with H&R springs.

No sir I am not lowered. Looking forward to seeing yours with wheels and lowering springs installed. I would be concerned with rubbing given the slight poke but from what I have heard camber is adjusted when lowered so you may be ok.

Here's the OEM M5 wheel sizes.

19" 705M are 19x9.5 ET26 and 19x10.5 ET28

All the 20" are 20x9.5 and 20x10.5 both ET28.

peteinpa do you have any closeup photos of the rear fitment? I test fitted the rear (without a tire) and the offset was concerning, thanks!

Here you go. There is a slight poke. I ended up adding wheel arch extensions, poke is not noticeable. I also went with 275/30 tires on the rear. No rubbing with the slightly smaller tire. The pic is with a 285/35 tire.
I will take a pic with the arch extensions and post a little later today.

One question, why do the wheels protrude more than the m5 f90, the rear part is equally wide in both models, right?

The M5 has a different rear suspension with narrower track width.
