What motivates you to tune your 5 series

I don't even drive fast! I choose to have the car start in comfort mode and use comfort mode 90% of the time. But when I want to get a rush and just blow by someone, Sport Plus is that rush and hell another 50hp will make me smile even more.

All this said, Dinan tune is what I went with and the only option for me. It's plug and play, BMW authorized from a warranty perspective and I don't have to take it out every time I go to the dealer to hide it from them.

Which dinan tune? Dinantronics sport performance?

I'm doing it just because I can. Coming from other platforms and even an E36, this car makes so much power with just bolt ons. It's so easy to get past 400whp. One major thing I want to improve upon is the suspension. I'm still not used to driving such a heavy car.

I'm definitely getting a tune on my 2021 540i. I had a JB4 many years ago and the gains were pretty minimal. Will I get a good boost from this Dinan?

I can't speak to the Dinan offering on the 540, but I am very happy with the results for the M550 kit.

Joe- do you have a pre-LCI M550? I can't find tuning info on the locked LCI cars on Dinan's site.

If your girlfriend is pretty naturally or when she wakes up in the mornings, she's definitely going to be smokin hot when she dresses up and does her makeup.
I tune and mod to get the best possible out of my cars. I modded my M5 the same way I did my M550. Every single car I promise myself I'm not going to mod/tune but I can't help myself after about 3 months.

I don’t believe there is a tune for the 2021 M550i yet, only JB4 and Racechip piggy backs to my knowledge. Me personally, I’m waiting for Bm3.

Pre-LCI, 2018 M550, I don't think Dinan has a tune for the LCI yet.

I feel the car is lack of power after 95mph when I tried to pass a van on highway, but I don't have a chance to try after the flash since chicago highway is so slow.
