2nd blow out in 24 months

I guess one per year isn’t too bad but this is inconvenient.

Plus to run flat is I exited the parkway and drive to safety without damaging the rim (I think)

Car is waiting for roadside assistance to take to dealer. Glad I had wheel and tire insurance.

Hope you are all having better much than me this morning. On a positive note BMW paid for my Uber to my office.

I've had 1 tyre damaged because a pothole. They certainly don't take too kindly to large potholes taken at speed and rfts are not cheap either

Is Continental taking a cue from Goodyear in how to sell more tires?

Sux. I have wheel and tire insurance that covers the damage but I need to cover the opposite tire because the difference is too great for an awd car. Plus the alignment.

Difference is too great? Says who?

If your tires aren't wearing abnormally, and you don't experience driveability issues, I'd suggest skipping the alignment. Half the time dealers make your functional alignment worse.

To late now but I’ll watch that.

I do agree with you. The pot hole I hit was a deep one so I went witn the alignment.
