Complete list of potential missing options

Is there a complete list of options that may or may not be removed from these cars? I'm picking up a M550i next week and want to make a list of things to check to make sure I'm not missing anything. I know the Digital Key is gone which I got a $80 credit for and Wireless Charging, Bowers & Wilkins, and Soft Close Doors have all been officially removed. Other options that I have seen removed in the past are:

Hands Free Trunk
Shadowline
Parking Cameras
Wifi Hotspot
Lumbar Support
Audio Module (B&W maybe?)
Enhanced USB

Am I missing anything else? I just noticed on MyBMW page that the Executive Package lists "Rear Sunshades" and not "Power rear sunshade & rear side window shades" like it did last week. I hope that is a typo because that is the only reason I got that package.

I just had an order confirmed for a 2022 550i x.
I was also told that there would be an Auto Trunk Exclusion
ZTL - Automatic Trunk Removal

It was explained to me that this was not only the touch free opening, but the motorized opening as well. So press the button on the remote and lift the trunk open.

No other exclusions at this time for my December build.

Interesting. The build sheet for my 550i does not show that deletion. Unless things have changed, I think the motorized trunk is still there....just not the ability to open it with your foot. Mine shows S316A automatic trunk lid mechanism.

The lumbar is only passenger side and I believe only 3 series.

5 series didn't get many of those extra removals….

Digital key and hands free trunk are the only real deletions for 5 series.

The Sun shades on the executive package: the rear sun shade is power. The ones on the side rear doors are manual. I thought that was the case in general, until I saw an 8 series that had it and they were all power…

Have been told that the wireless charger is missing from my new 545e. Told the dealer that he can take the old one out of my old 540i and put it in the 545e. No response from that email yet.

Yeah, wireless charger was removed from all 22 vehicles. Not an issue since it was more like a wireless phone heater...

There are oem and after market ones that plug in and fit over that spot. The price on them doubled in the last 3 weeks (from$30 to $60)

I'll be fine with plugging mine in

Ordered my 540i Touring car early May and collected at the end of October.
- wireless charging (digital key) were removed
- Harman Kardon couldn’t be ordered - might be available now (not sure)
- electric boot (comfort access) was fitted
- shadow line was fitted
- wifi hotspot fitted (Might be different for US cars)
- electric tow hitch - I didnt order, but heard from my dealer that the tow hitch might be removed but availability changes every couple of weeks.. or you might wait a couple of months longer for your car

I found two different wireless chargers. One on Amazon that plugged in and looked like it fitted on top of the existing one. You have to plug into the cigarette outlet, or 12V or whatever. And the second was an oem one that you had to pull stuff out and apart to be able to hook up and install.

The first was $30, but I think the price has been increased to $60, and the second was around $200. After reading up on it, I decided not to bother, the charge rate is just too slow

HK would have been 4 month wait... Bowers & Wilkins £4k extra

I ordered my 2018 530e with the sun shade option and the rear is powered but the sides are manual.

I wanted to share my experience regarding the deletions and my 2022 530e, when I originally ordered in mid-August, I had the 32X and 32Z deletions, but when the car was complete (week 46) I asked the dealer for an "as built" list and the deletions were no longer there and the suggested price was +$180.

I asked and was told that those features were installed. The vehicle is on the Olympian Highway in the middle of the Atlantic right now, scheduled into Brunswick December 1, so I'll know for sure when I pick it up a week or so later.

Think it depends which packs you have added. My spec is pretty basic (other than fancy individual paint).

As a single option it's £4,220
With Tech Pack Pack it's £2,500

I took delivery of my 2022 M550 yesterday. It has the hands free "kick to open" trunk. The only things it seems to be missing are the digital key and wireless charger. I have no use for the digital key and have never found a need to charge my phone in the car.

I picked mine up on Tuesday 12/7.

When I initially ordered it, the digital key and hands free tailgate were listed as deletions.

When it arrived, it had both the kick to open tailgate and digital key. i.e. it had the NFT tray.

Only thing it's missing is wireless charging.

Wow, so some of you are getting options added that were previously deleted? I ordered this past Summer and only had the wireless charging and digital key and hands-free trunk deleted but some of you are getting them despite being listed as deleted.

Sucks to see the Bowers get deleted completely, if what was stated earlier in this thread is true.
