Yeh that looks ok in my book.
I know there has been a lot of talk about the size of the 7lci grills but I had a thought the other day when looking at an S class in that the grill on that looks to be bigger than the 7 and no one seems to complaining about that! Back to the 5 , yeh looks ok to me assume those are the laser lights on these shots? |

I see what you mean. Those new Series 3 headlights do not really do much for me either, however, that novelty would not be a deal breaker in my books if it also were to surface on the new 5s. Unfortunately, BMW sometimes have a hard time leaving good enough alone. Yet, as we've been witnessing lately, things could be much much worse in the styling department.....yes, I am referring to those monstrous kidney grilles and front bumper cover air scoops and baffles.

I thought the aim of the huge LCI on the 7er was to differentiate it from the 5er, and I do NOT see how this will be accomplished if the 5er looks like this

Looks ok to me but prefer current. Wouldn't put me off buying one but that grill really can't get any bigger , that's right at the limit in my book.
If the 4 series concept is anything to go by these might be the last generation that have 2 kidneys rather than one joined large one. Like the front lights though - I do think bmw have lost their identity though with their lights, in the past you could tell if it was a bmw behind you at night, not so obvious now |

It would be great if we could get updated dash form like in the new 3 series (G20) and 8 series. Much more modern and sleek

Sorry bud but the G20 and X5 dashboards look and feel cheap compared to the G30. The G30 interior is quality, sleek and feels fantastic to the touch. No comparison.
