2018 M550 JB4 engine malfunction issue
Hello, I am having issues with my JB4. Back in June, I connected it and as soon as I go full throttle, the drivetrain malfunction comes up. I did contact Terry, who responded immediately and gave me a few suggestions, such as, enable the option 5 to disable EWG as a test and when that didn't work, he said to place the EWG connections back to factory. The only problem is, there are not connections for the EWG with the N63R JB4. Just the connections for the Tmap sensors.
I disconnected the JB4 for a little while (month) and re-connected it on Sunday and as soon as I connected it and downloaded the new firmware, the car's drivetrain malfunction instantly came on, before I pulled it out of the garage. I double checked the connections, and everything is correct and it's on Map 0. I'm totally lost now. Disconnected, the car is fine, no issues. Any suggestions? Again, the car is fine when disconnected. no engine light or malfunction. I did change to a colder plug, and I am using Dinan coil packs Codes: 121001 TMAP sensor, short circuit to B+ 121201 TMAP Signal Active with engine off 121532 boost pressure sensor, plausibility: Pressure upstream from throttle at motor stand 120908 Load pressure control 2: Shutdown as follow-up action 121542 Load pressure 2- Ambient pressure 2, Comparison: Charge pressure too high |
